This year’s Biking for Bubbies event was a tremendous example of community support and love, inspired by the life of a person who lived a life on generosity and kindness.
Seymour was a founding member of the Biking for Bubbies fundraiser in support of Hillel Lodge, and tirelessly dedicated many hours to supporting and developing that into the community event it has become.
I know he would be incredibly proud that the charity raised a record breaking $338,500 to date. The outpouring of community support was uplifting and energizing, and watching the riders head off to complete the 36k route, while the walkers and families partook in the Family Fun Zone, I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to be the title sponsors for this event, in honour of Seymour Mender.
